This a lovely wheel, I just haven't gotten stound to spinning on it much. The accessories have never been taken out of the emanufacturers packaging. This is a great deal. I have had this wheel for ten years, and I love it! It is a great travel wheel but also works so well at home. Very versatile.
The bag has a small hole in the bottom, and the wheel has a small crack in the base, otherwise all the pieces are in great shape.

Three Spinning Wheels
I have three lovely old spinning wheels and all are in good working order. I am selling them for $350 each. Wish I could keep them but am no longer doing much spinning.
Norwegian wheel. Has double drive band and extra bobbin. This wheel came over from Sweden, is old and lovingly used. It is hand pegged and has some interesting hand carved adornments. It always spun beautifully for me.
Quebec wheel. For spinning cotton. It did come from Canada and it, too, makes cotton spinning a pleasure.
Great Wheel. This walking wheel has its' original wheel and upright and its' original minors head. The bench and upright holding the minors head were recreated by an expert Scandanavian furniture maker.
Each of these wheels is located in Sarasota, Florida and would need to be picked up.

Ashford Traditional Spinning Wheel
Ashford Traditional Spinning Wheel in excellent working condition. Includes lazy kate, 6 bobbins, original assembly instructions, a small bag of extra parts from an Ashford Spinner's Maintenance Kit, and a copy of The Ashford Book of Spinning by Anne Field.
This wheel is about 20 years old and is finished with Danish oil. I learned to spin on it and kept it as a second wheel after I upgraded to a more versatile wheel. Well maintained and not overused, it would make a fine beginner's wheel and has many years of spinning left in it.

With a heavy sigh, I have decided to sell my beautiful Norm Hall Double Treadle cherry spinning wheel. I waited 6 years to receive my custom designed Mariah wheel in 1995. I paid $3,000. It is a production wheel - meaning it can spin fast - and it is effortless to treadle. I designed extra spokes in the drive wheel to add weight in the down turn. It is in excellent condition. I have 6 bobbins that Norm made for me. As you know, he is no longer creating wheels and it is a rare find to see one of his handcrafted Mariah available for sale.
