Schacht Matchless Double Treadle for sale. I am selling my wheel because I have replaced it with a smaller, portable wheel. My Schacht Wheel is in very good-excellent condition. It has been tenderly cared for and respectfully used. It has been housed in a smoke-free, moisture free, clean home. The flyer has been modified to include more hooks which allow for a smoother winding on of yarn to bobbin. Included: extra whorl, bobbin, tool kit, orifice hook, strap. $700. Indian Book Charkha Spinning Wheel
Charkha spinning wheel from India is made of teak, finished and ready to use. The Charkha is a close cousin to the wheel that Ghandi used in spinning. Includes 3 spindles and skeinwinder. Great to spin fine and or short fibers into very fine yarns. Weighs 2 lbs and measures 10" X 6.5" X 2". Ratio is 100:1
I have used this wheel for a workshop. It is complete with all parts and in excellent working condition. I have stored it in my smoke-free home. It's been gently used, and well-cared for.

Handmade walking wheel with regular drive and second accelerating head. The second was from a different wheel, but it fits and both work well. This wheel is about 5' tall and wide, in very good condition, and fully taken apart the wheel itself is 43" in diameter and the table is 48" long. I can deliver in the twin cities area, otherwise it must be picked up. $200.

I have a 3-month old Aura for sale. The kinds of yarns it specializes in are not the ones I like to spin and when reality set in, I decided it was time to cut my losses and move on. I have for sale a used Kromski Minstrel Spinning Wheel with a Mahogany Finish. This is a castle style wheel with double treadles that can be set up as either Scotch Tension or Double Drive. It comes with 3 bobbins, orifice hook, and a so-called built-in kate (probably bobbin storage would be a better description). It is made from European Alder and Birch and then stained and lacquered. It seems to me it would be a good choice for those who participate in Historical re-enactments. It weighs 13 pounds and has 4 ratios that range from 6.5:1 to 16:1. The orifice size is .375 inch. There is a jumbo flyer option available for this wheel, but I don’t have one. I am wanting $325 plus shipping. Would prefer to sell it locally or within a distance that we could meet to exchange. The wheel is currently located in Versailles, MO. Please PM me if you are interested.

I am selling my Louet Julia spinning wheel in gently used condition. The Julia is made of lacquered solid beech and laminated birch and weighs 11 lbs. The drive wheel is 19 3/4". The ratios are 1:6, 1:8.5, 1:12.5, 1:19 which allow yout to spin yarn thick to thin. The base can be easily detached from the upright for ease of transportation. This is a wheel you will not outgrow! The Julia comes with four bobbins and a great stand-alone lazy-kate. $500 - pick up in CT or will consider shipping at buyers expense.
