This is a used Majacraft Aura Spinning Wheel. It comes with two bobbins. More bobbins can be ordered through a Majacraft dealer or from Akerworks bobbins. The Aura has a unique double drive system that has a bit of a learning curve, but once mastered, you will be able to spin any yarn you desire on this wheel. I am asking $800 plus shipping for this. I can ship it either fully assembled (will cost more) or with a few pieces unassembled. Directions for reassembly can be found on the Majacraft website and is downloadable as a pdf. The wheel can also be picked up in Boonville, MO.
This is the Overdrive Head that was designed by Majacraft to hold an enormous amount of spun yarn. They claim it holds 5 times what one of their Jumbo bobbins will hold. This Overhead drive was designed originally for the Aura spinning wheel, but with a few adjustments can be adapted to either the Majacraft Suzie or Rose wheels. In order to do that, you remove two white washers (a phillips head screw driver is all that is needed) and you will need to obtain a band to accommodate either of those two wheels. When I went in search of a humongous bobbins, this was the only one I found acceptable. The special double drive system allows the bobbin to spin at the same tension whether it is full or empty. I'm asking $400 and I'll pay the shipping.

Includes: 3 large capacity bobbins, and detachable 52" windmill skinner. Large flyer hooks and orifice accommodate most spinning weights. Single-treadle uses either left or right foot. Detachable 52" windmill skeiner is a slightly darker wood than the wheel (see photo), attaching directly to the wheel using a knob. Turned wood pieces show off a beautiful wood grain. (Yarn on bobbin not included :-))
Gently used and well cared for, it looks like new although it was made in the 1980's. I'm the second owner. There are no nicks, scratches or dings; no loose joints, nor any other defects. It does not need any refurbishment or parts.

It has the initials "A.H." on the table. Dark wood, with bone or ivory decorations. Excellent condition, completely functional. Come with two original bobbins, plus 4 more that I had made for it.
I bought this wheel in 2010 from a collector and tuned it up for spinning myself, but just have never used it. Am now downsizing, and this wheel should go to someone who will use it. Asking $1500.

This is an electric spinner. The flyer is powered by a small motor rather than by a treadle. It is designed to sit on it's three removable legs or on a table or bench, whichever is easier for the spinner. There is a rheostat to increase control over the speed of the motor.
There are a total of three bobbins but no other accessories.
It can be set up as double drive or with scotch tension.
I don't think this is a particularly good wheel for a beginner but it should be an awesome spinner for production spinning.
I only used it a bit for an intensive spinning project that never got much past the dreaming phase.
